MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Hasanai Chanriang, Jr., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons University junior Hasanai Chanriang (Mason, Texas) won his second consecutive Athlete of the Week award and third in his career after winning the 400 meter hurdles in 54.58 at the McMurry War Hawks Classic. His time ranks eighth in the nation. Chanriang was also a part of the 4x100 meter relay team that won the event in 42.00 seconds, breaking the school record. The relay time is fourth in the country.
 
MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Tiyoshi Hopes, So., McMurry
McMurry University sophomore Tiyoshi Hopes (Abilene, Texas) earned his second Athlete of the Week award of the year by winning both the high jump and long jump at the McMurry War Hawks Classic. He broke the 15-year old school record in the high jump, clearing 2.14 meters (7 ft.-.25 in.). Hopes leaped 7.16 meters (23 ft.-6 in.) in the long jump. Both marks lead NCAA Division III.
 
WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Kaila Shelfer, Sr., McMurry
McMurry senior Kaila Shelfer (Alvarado, Texas) took second in the 100 meter dash in 12.48 seconds at the War Hawks Classic. Her time tied for 18th-best in the nation and is the top time in the ASC. She also ran the anchor leg of the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 49.23 and anchored the first-place 4x400 relay in 4:05.28. The 4x400 relay time is 10th in the country, while the 4x100 is tied for 14th.
 
WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Kaylee Prather, Sr., UT Tyler
University of Texas at Tyler senior Kaylee Prather (Elysian Fields, Texas) earned her third Athlete of the Week honors of the season by winning the long jump with a leap of 5.80 meters (19 ft.-.5 in.) at the War Hawks Classic. The school-record time ranks second in the nation.

OTHER TOP MEN’S PERFORMANCES
UT Tyler junior Zach Richardson (Waxahachie, Texas) set a new Patriot record with a time of 21.79 seconds to win the 200 meter dash at the War Hawks Classic. He also ran the third leg of the 4x400 relay which finished third. Richardson’s 200 time ranks ninth in the nation.
 
Concordia University Texas junior Gabriel Spivey (San Antonio, Texas) jumped a season-best distance of 7.11 meters (23 ft.-4 in.) to place second in the long jump at the War Hawks Classic. The distance ranks second in the nation in Division III.
 
Concordia Texas junior Raul Villalpando (San Antonio, Texas) ran a season-best 15.19 in the 110 meter hurdles, placing third. His time ranks 15th in the nation.
 
LeTourneau University freshman Javaughn Dantzler (Houston, Texas) place second in the long jump with a mark of 6.49 meters (21 ft. - 3.5 in.) at the Harding Invitational. The mark is currently the 30th-best mark in NCAA Division III this year.
 
LeTourneau freshman Stanley Williams (Longview, Texas) came in seventh-place in the 100 meter dash at the Harding University Invitational, finishing as the best NCAA Division III athlete in the event. His school-record time of 11.08 seconds is currently tied for the 40th-best mark among in the nation.
 
East Texas Baptist University junior Zack Biles (New Caney, Texas) won the pole vault by clearing 4.86 meters (15 ft.-11.25 in.) at the War Hawks Classic. His height is the second-best in the nation.
 
East Texas Baptist freshman Mack Broussard (Hankamer, Texas) won the 10,000 meters in 43:27.78 and placed sixth in the 800 meters in 2:05.45 at the War Hawks Classic.
 
University of the Ozarks freshman Michael Harris (Elkins, Ark.) was the top Division III finisher in the 1,500 meters at the Harding Invitational in 4:09.52, placing seventh.
 
Belhaven University sophomore Carron Prude (Los Angeles, Calif.) was responsible for 11 of the Blazers’ 46 points at the Flacon Classic in Alabama. He finished third with a shot put of 12.60 meters (41 ft.-4.25 in.) and fourth with a hammer throw of 42.61 meters (139 ft.-9 in.).
 
OTHER TOP WOMEN’S PERFORMANCES
McMurry junior Bethany Everett (Stratford, Texas) placed fourth in the hammer throw at the War Hawks Classic with a distance of 49.55 meters (162 ft.-7 in.) which ranks fifth in the country. She also finished sixth with a discus throw of 39.65 meters (130 ft.-1 in.), good for 13th in the nation.
 
Concordia Texas freshman Bayli Luke (Houston, Texas) recorded a distance of 5.34 meters (17 ft.-6.25 in.) in the long jump, placing fifth at the War Hawks Classic. The mark is the 18th-best in Division III.
 
Concordia Texas junior Emily Villines (Huntsville, Texas) won the 5,000 meters at the War Hawks Classic with a school record time of 19:15.65.
 
LeTourneau sophomore Alexis Segura (Austin, Texas) posted the 13th-best time in the NCAA Division III South/Southeast region in the 3,000 meter steeplechase this past week, finishing fourth at the Harding University Invitational with a time of 12:41.03.
 
Hardin-Simmons sophomore Jessica Eastham (Robinson, Texas) won the 400 meter dash in 1:00.37 and placed third in the 200 in 26.22 at the War Hawks Classic, both of which were personal bests.
 
East Texas Baptist sophomore Aaryn Honeywood (Paris, Texas) finished second in 1:03.39 in the 400 meter dash at the McMurry War Hawks Classic. She also placed 12th with a 200 time of 27.66 seconds.
 
Ozarks junior Hannah Smith (Blue Eye, Mo.) placed second overall at the Harding University Invitational running a 5:01.06 in the 1,500 meters. Smith finished ninth in the 800 meters running a 2:30.18.
 
Belhaven junior Aliah McPhaul (Leesville, La) scored 28 points for the Blazers at the Montevallo Falcon Classic. She won the shot put with a mark of 12.14 meters (39 ft.-10 in.) and the discus at 37.18 meters (122 ft.). McPhaul was also second with a hammer throw of 38.77 meters (127 ft.-2 in.). Her shot put mark is 14th in the nation.
