ORLANDO, Florida – The UT Tyler women’s tennis team fell 7-2 to Georgetown College and 8-0 to No. 17 Case Western Reserve on Monday on their first day of Spring Break matches of a six-match trip.

Against Georgetown, UT Tyler junior Alexandra McKissick earned a pair of wins to highlight Patriots performances. She was a 9-7 second doubles winner with teammate Savannah Seely to start the day before earning a 6-2, 6-3 fifth singles win over Emily Novak.

In other doubles action, Victoria Kniffen and Nancy Perez fell 8-4 in first doubles and Lauren Kuhn and Emily Danielson lost an 8-4 third doubles decision.

The Patriots were held without a win in the loss to Case Western and the second singles match ended unfinished due to a lack of lights on the court with Kuhn trailing 7-5, 4-5 to Madeleine Paolucci.

UT Tyler is also scheduled to play Rochester, Butler, Mount Holyoke and Colby-Sawyer College this week in Orlando.
