ORLANDO -- The UT Tyler women's tennis team extended its win streak to four-straight matches, defeating the Coe College Kohawks 6-3 on Tuesday in the team's second match in the Sunshine State.

UT Tyler (8-3) fell behind early to Coe (13-3), going down 2-1 after the doubles teams matched up.  The No. 3 team of Tori Musngi and Janae Warren picked up the lone win for the Patriots in doubles, winning 8-5 over the Kowhawk's duo of Sebastian-Washington.

Needing four wins in singles to capture the match, the Patriots pulled through, taking five-of-six of the matchups, closing out the 6-3 win.

Tori Musngi won at No. 1 6-1, 6-0, while Jennifer Payne was able to hold off Coe's Amy Sebastian, winning 6-2, 7-6.

Sarah Moses had her hands full against Coe's Jordan Ferree, but was able to pull out the impressive 6-2, 5-7, 10-5 win at No. 3 singles.

At No. 4, Nicole Musngi also picked up a win, defeating Laura Birky 6-2, 6-3, while Warren closed out her matchup with a convincing 6-2, 6-0 win.  

The Patriots will close out their 2015 Spring Break Trip against Methodist at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, looking to clinch head coach Chris Bizot's 400th career win.
