Patriots Win Pair Of Double-Headers

Saturday, March 31, 2007

The University of Texas at Tyler tennis teams were tested Saturday, but both the men’s and women’s teams won a pair of matches against Millsaps and Austin College.

“We played great doubles again,” Patriots tennis coach Chris Bizot said. “We played well, especially with our top guy hurt. We had to move everybody up, and they answered the call. As the season progresses, though, we’ve got to play better.”

“I thought our women are progressing nicely, right where they should be.”
