    RECAP: @patriotstennis secures ASC East Division titles

    The UT Tyler tennis teams secured American Southwest Conference East Division Championships after earning a pair of 9-0 wins over LeTourneau and Louisiana College on Friday at the Davis Tennis Center. With the ASC East title, the men’s team will host the ASC Championship from May 4-6 at the Summers Tennis Center, while the women’s team will be the East’s top seed at the women’s tournament at Hardin-Simmons next weekend.

    AWARD: Kuhn named ASC East Player of Week

    AWARD: Lauren Kuhn has earned ASC Player of the Week honors after going 2-0 in doubles with partner Nancy Perez and also earned a 4-6, 6-4, 10-5 No. 2 singles win over Belhaven to help UT Tyler to a pair of wins vs. ASC teams. Kuhn was an 8-5 winner at No. 2 doubles winners in the close match against East Texas Baptist won by the Patriots, 5-4.

    RECAP: @patriottennis earns four ASC wins on Saturday

    The UT Tyler tennis teams went 4-0 on Saturday with a pair of American Southwest Conference sweeps of Belhaven and East Texas Baptist on Senior Day at the Summers Tennis Center. The Patriot men will complete a four-match week when they host No. 13 Whitman at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

    RECAP: @patriotstennis rolls to ASC opening wins

    The UT Tyler teams rolled to a pair of 9-0 wins over Ozarks on Saturday to open American Southwest Conference play at the Hurie Tennis Courts. The Patriot women will return to action at 8 a.m. on Sunday by hosting Trinity at the Summers Tennis Center in a match that was moved up two hours because of weather forecasts.

    PREVIEW: @patriotstennis to play in 3 locations this weekend

    The No. 17-ranked men’s team opens the weekend against No. 19 Gustavus Adolphus College at 1:30 p.m. on Friday in Waco before both teams travel to Arkansas to play their first American Southwest Conference matches of the season at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The weekend will conclude with a 10 a.m. home match on Sunday by the women’s team against Trinity at the Summers Tennis Center.
