CHAMPS!! @patriotstennis earns ASC Championship title

UT Tyler won its ninth conference title in women’s tennis after earning a 5-4 win over UT Dallas on Saturday after jumping out to a 2-1 lead after doubles but seeing the Comets storm back in singles. After a series of conclusions, the match was tied 4-4 and it came down to first singles where Quevedo had dropped the first set 6-4 and was down 5-2 in the second set. She would stave off her opponent though, fighting back to take a 7-5 win in the second set and then rolling through for a 6-0 win in the third to clinch the title for the Patriots.
