Jorden Reed scored the Patriots lone goal 21:45 into the game and Lindsey Henrie posted another shutout to give the UT Tyler women a 1-0 win against the University of the Ozarks.

Tiffany Cooksey recorded the assist on Reed's goal as the Patriots (7-7-1, 5-4-0 ASC) outshot the Ozarks, 18-3.

The UT Tyler men (11-2-1, 7-1-1 ASC) got an unassisted goal from Malek Bekka 15 minutes into the game to take a 1-0 lead in the first half.

Bekka added his second goal on a pass from Juan Amaya to give the Patriots a 2-1 lead with 22 minutes remaining, but the Ozarks Ryan Skelly scored on a pass from Dustin Perry in the 76th minute to tie the game 2-2.

Neither team could find the net in the two overtime periods, giving the Patriots their first tie of the season. With the tie, the Patriots remain in first place in the American Southwest Conference.

The men's and women's teams stay on the road as they face Texas Lutheran Friday in Seguin.
