UT Tyler women's cross country runner Carly Kitts finished in 177th place at the 2013 NCAA Division-III National Championship meet on Saturday morning. Kitts is the first Patriot women's runner to run in the National Title meet.
Four UT Tyler cross country runners have been named to the USTFCCCA All-Region team the organization announced Tuesday. Three men's runners were named to the team, while national-qualifier Carly Kitts represents the ladies.
The UT Tyler women's cross country team finished in 16th-place at the NCAA South Regional. Junior Carly Kitts became the first Patriots' female runner in program-history to qualify for the National Championship meet.
