Obach earns D3hoops All-South Region honors

TYLER – UT Tyler senior Michelle Obach has earned D3hoops.com All-South Region after leading the Patriots with 15.0 points per game along with 87 assists and 37 steals.

Obach was named to the website’s third-team all-region on Monday and is one of three American Southwest Conference players to earn distinction. A point guard from Tyler, Obach finished her career with 1,282 points, 323 assists and 179 steals during three years at UT Tyler after transferring in as a sophomore. She earned ASC All-Conference honors this season after hitting 53 3-pointers and helping the Patriots to a 20-7 record and to the ASC Championship semifinals.

Obach is a two-time D3hoops.com all-region selection after being named to the first-team and All-America team as a junior for the Patriots.
