The UT Tyler volleyball team fell to Central Oklahoma and Dallas Baptist Tuesday in Edmond, Okla.
In game one, Central Oklahoma easily managed the Patriots, winning in straight sets, 30-17, 30-14, 30-27. UT Tyler was led by Amanda Gadison and Megan McCarty who both had seven kills, but overall the Patriots only combined for 30 kills to UCO's 55 and UCO had a .393 attack percentage to UT Tyler's .110
Karlee Juett led all players with 12 digs.
In the second game, the Patriots fared somewhat better but still fell to Dallas Baptist, 30-23, 30-20, 30-27.
Jessica Lightfoot had 10 kills to lead UT Tyler and Kelly Roberts had 11 digs and two service aces. The Patriots could only manage a .058 attack percentage compared to .295 for DBU.
UT Tyler plays its first home game of the season at 6 p.m. Friday against Ouachita Baptist, also a Division II school. The game will be played at Grace Community High School which is located across University Blvd. (Spur 248) from the UT Tyler.
