PRIOR TO UT TYLER: Transfers to UT Tyler after playing two seasons at McClennan College and at Elgin HS... Hit .437 with two home runs and was a four-time academic all-district selection at Elgin... Earned District MVP honors as a senior along with being named an academic all-state selection... Played for head coach Amanda Wolf and helped Elgin to a regional championship as a senior and to four district titles. 

JUNIOR (2017): Gonzales hit .407 with 59 hits, 41 RBI’s, and 13 runs scored in her first year with the Patriots… She started all 52 games and was named 2nd team NFCA All-Region, 1st Team All-Conference, NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete, and was on the Tyler Regional All-Tournament Team… Had 16 multi-hit games, including going 8-for-8 with 5 RBI’s, 2 2B, and 2 runs scored in a series against LeTourneau… Had a .482 OBP and led the team with 262 put outs without an error.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Charles and Olivia Gonzales. Has three siblings, Victoria, Theresa and Andruw Gonzales… Both sisters play for UT Tyler softball team also.

MAJOR: Kinesiology

CAREER ASPIRATION: Physical Therapist

Why UT Tyler?: "I decided to come to UT Tyler because it seemed like the best place to further my education. I also chose to come here because I wanted to compete for and win a national championship."
