The Patriots (32-2, 23-2 ASC) did have a six-game shutout streak end with the Wildcats scoring two runs in the bottom of the seventh. Prather would get her first hit of the game with a one-out single in the second and then stole second base. She would score on the second of four LC errors to make it 4-0. The lead grew to 6-0 in the fifth with Cheyenne Thompson hitting a run-scoring single to score Lexi Ackroyd who had hit a double and then Hannah Moore delivering another run on her first triple of the season.

Prather had three singles and three stolen bases in the game and also extend her streak of reaching base in all 34 games this season. She is now hitting .537 with 65 hits through 34 games, while Hinojosa and Thompson added two hits each for the Patriots who finished the game with 10 hits.
