AWARD: Uhlig takes ASC Player of Week after Lowery win

MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Tyler Uhlig, Jr., UT Tyler
University of Texas at Tyler junior Tyler Uhlig (Magnolia, Texas) won the first tournament of his career by shooting a -3 under par 139 to win the Linda Lowery Invitational in Austin. He finished with eight birdies on 36 holes. Uhlig recorded a 67-72=139 over the two rounds and helped the No. 1 Patriots finish second as a team.
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Madyson Milliorn, So., Concordia Texas
Concordia University Texas sophomore Madyson Milliorn (Houston, Texas) shot a two-round score of 75-81=156 placing second at the Linda Lowery Invitational in Austin. She shot the lowest score of the first round to hold a two-stroke lead. After the final round, Milliorn ended up two strokes out of first. Her performance helped the Tornados take second place and finish eight strokes back.
Concordia Texas freshman Clayton King (Uvalde, Texas) finished second overall at the Linda Lowery Invitational with a -2 under par 140. After a first round score of 74, he shot the best round of the tournament with a 66 (-5) on the final day. King registered five birdies on the day in a bogey-free round. His performance helped the No. 7 Tornados win the tournament by 11 strokes.
Hardin-Simmons University sophomore Carly Pachuta (Prosper, Texas) finished fourth at the Linda Lowery Invitational with a 79-80=159.
