TYLER – The No. 2-ranked UT Tyler baseball team has been forced to adjust its weekend schedule due to weather forecast and will now play at Ozarks on Saturday and Sunday in a three-game American Southwest Conference series in Clarksville, Arkansas.

The series will begin with a noon doubleheader on Saturday before a noon finale on Sunday at the Lonnie R. Qualls Baseball Field. The Patriots (18-4, 8-1 ASC) are coming off two straight ASC sweeps of Belhaven and Sul Ross, while Ozarks (9-9, 3-6 ASC) have dropped two of three against UT Dallas and McMurry in its last two conference series. UT Tyler dropped a 6-5 non-conference game against No. 8 Centenary on Tuesday, while the Eagles earned a 13-4 win over Austin College on Tuesday in a game played in Wilburton, Oklahoma.

UT Tyler will stay on the road after its series at Ozarks to play Millsaps next Tuesday in a non-conference series in Jackson, Mississippi.
