The Patriots will be represented by 17 women and 25 men, including All-American and defending NCAA Division III National Hammer Throw Champion Whitney Simmons who is scheduled to throw the Hammer for the first time since winning last year’s title with a throw of 59.13 meters in Iowa. The meet also includes five Patriots who have set Indoor program records in Victoria Nix (pole vault), Daina Wilde (long jump), Ricky Hall (400-meters) and Gabriel Perez (weight throw).  Simmons is also the national leader in the Weight Throw and will be competing at the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships next week in Naperville, Illinois. She leads the nation with a throw of 19.77 meters which is the fifth best throw in DIII history. Simmons will throw the hammer and compete in the discus on Friday – an event she won last year at the ASC Championships.

Daevonna Goudeau and Ashton Hawkins are set to run in the 100 and 200-meter dashes for the Patriots, while fans will see Michaela Heys competing in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles and Kelli Kissinger, Courtney Smith, Tristin Salem and Caitlin Pruett in the 800 meters.
