Fischer would add a 6-1, 6-3 fourth singles win to take a three-match winning streak, while No. 43 Fagundes suffered a 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 loss in first singles to fall to 6-1 on the season in singles play.

Joey Fischer would earn a pair of wins with a 6-1, 6-0 second singles win over Albert Vacheron and then teaming up with Jose McIntyre to take an 8-4 second doubles win. In third doubles it was another 8-4 victory for the Patriots with Ryan Elwood and Jack Puckey with the win, while Puckey took a 6-1, 6-3 fifth singles win and Cameron McCarthy recorded a 7-5, 6-3 sixth singles win.

UT Tyler, which has its lone loss coming in a 5-4 defeat to St. Edward’s (NCAA DII) travels to Claremont, California this weekend to compete at the Stag Hen Invitational. The Patriots will not play at home again until Saturday, March 26 when they host Cal Tech at the Summers Tennis Center. They will however have a neutral court match on Friday, March 25 against Tyler Junior College at the Cascades.
