RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler men's tennis player Daniel Brown has been named the American Southwest Conference East Division Player of the Week. Brown helped the Patriots go 3-1 against four top-ranked opponents on a week long trip to California.
Brown, a transfer from Texas A&M, fueled the No. 20 Patriots in California, going 4-0 in No. 2 singles play and 3-1 in No. 1 doubles play against the No. 11, 13, 16 and 18th-ranked teams in the country.
