    SEASON REVIEW: UT Tyler excels throughout 2015-16 season

    Celebrate and file the 2015-16 collegiate athletic year as one of continued domination by the University of Texas at Tyler’s 17 athletic programs with two NCAA Division III national championships, a national runner-up finish, 10 NCAA postseason appearances, eight American Southwest Conference Championships, 17 ASC individual champions, nine all-Americans, four academic all-Americans, 20 all-region performers, 93 all-conference selections and 106 academic all-conference honors.

    Fischer, Fagundes take season-ending losses at nationals

    After a great season which resulted in at-large selections to the NCAA Division III Tennis Championships, UT Tyler’s Frankie Fischer and Arthur Fagundes had their seasons come to a close on Thursday with losses Stowe Stadium. Fagundes earned a bid to the tournament in singles and would drop a 6-2, 6-1 decision before doubles play where he and Fischer would take a 6-3, 6-2 defeat to CJ Krimbill and Louis Stuerke of Case Western Reserve.

    Fagundes, Fischer to compete at NCAA DIII Championships

    UT Tyler freshman Arthur Fagundes and senior Frankie Fischer will compete at the NCAA Division III Tennis Individual Championships starting on Thursday at Stowe Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Fagundes is the first UT Tyler freshman to compete in doubles and singles at the national tournament, while Fischer is making his second straight trip to the tournament.
