Shipman Named Second Team All-American by NSCAA

KANSAS CITY -- UT Tyler Men's Soccer senior Enoch Shipman has been named Second Team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced Friday.  Shipman was the lone representative from the American Southwest Conference.

Shipman, a native of Lindale, finished the year with three goals scored and one assist for a total of seven total points.  

The senior made plays from all over the pitch, lining up as a defender and midfielder for head coach Kenny Jones.

Shipman was tabbed First Team NSCAA All-Region, First Team All-ASC and now, Second Team All-American.

He helped lead UT Tyler to the postseason for the fourth-straight season, finishing as runner-up at the conference championship tournament.

Not only was he honored this season for his play on the field, he was also named the ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year, voted on by coaches from around the conference.
