#uttylermsocc Places Three on NSCAA All-Region Team

KANSAS CiTY -- Enoch Shipman, David Lopez-Molinar and Alfonso Rocha were each named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's All-West Region Team announced Tuesday.  The three helped the Patriots to a 10-3-5 overall record and a runner-up conference-finish.

Shipman was named First Team All-Region after finishing the  year with three goals scored, one assist for a total of seven points.  He was also named the ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year by the conference coaches and First Team All-American Southwest Conference.

Lopez-Molinar was named Second Team All-Region after a stellar first year with the Patriots.

The forward led UT Tyler in goals (13), assists (5) and points-scored with 31. The El Paso-native was named First Team All-ASC after ranking second in most offensive categories.

Rocha, a senior from Spring was named Third Team All-Region after helping lead a stingy UT Tyler defense that gave up just 14 goals in 18 matches-played, while also helping to total 10 shutouts.

The defender was also busy on the offensive end of the pitch, totaling one goal and two assists on the year.
