RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler senior Jacob Walsh fired a 3-under 69-72—141 to claim the individual title at the Alamo City Classic at River Crossing Golf Course in San Antonio, Texas, earning him American Southwest Conference Golfer of the Week honors.
Walsh, who took medalist honors by one stroke and had one of just two rounds in the 60s in the entire field, also led the Patriots to their third team title of the fall.
A native of Lewisville, Texas (Hebron HS), Walsh averaged a score of 72.78 across his nine rounds this fall.
