Former UT Tyler tennis standout Ashley Albro enters her first season as assistant coach with the UT Tyler tennis program.
Albro was a two-time, First Team All American Southwest Conference from 2010 to 2012. She was named ASC Newcomer of the Year in 2010, as well as Conference Player of the Week twice.
UT Tyler won three consecutive ASC east and tournament championships with Albro helping to lead the way. Albro was also named Academic All-Conference her senior season.
During her career, Albro went 17-6 in singles competition, and 28-14 in doubles competition.
