JUNIOR (2017): Bishop hit .339 in 33 games played in his junior season with the Patriots… He had 41 hits, 26 runs scored, and 25 RBI’s… Bishop had 4 HR’s that led to a .496 slugging % and a .470 OBP… His season was highlighted by 10 multi-hit games, including five 3-hit games and a 4-hit game… He went 4-for-4 with 2 runs scored, 6 RBI’s, 2B, BB, and HR against Louisiana College in the ASC Conference Tournament… Bishop earned ASC All-Conference Honorable Mention, ASC Blue Bracket All-Tournament Team, and ASC Academic All-Conference.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Bishop established a new single-season program record with 22 doubles and had the fourth most hits in a season with 72 in his second season with the Patriots... His .407 batting average is the 10th best ever in a season and helped earn him ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honors along with ASC All-Conference... He was a productive hitter finishing with 53 RBI which was fifth in the UT Tyler single-season rankings and his 36 walks were the fourth most... Bishop helped the Patriots to their second straight ASC Championship title and finished the season with a team-leading 23 multi-hit games and 17 multi-RBI performances... He had nine three-hit games and 14 two-hit games.. He would finish the year with four three-RBI games and had a career-best five RBI in a game against LeTourneau... He enters his junior season with 93 total hits. 

FRESHMAN (2015):
Was a member of the 2015 American Southwest Conference regular-season and tournament championship team... Finished his first season at UT Tyler with 21 hits and 12 RBI.. Had four multi-hit performances and finished the season with a .239 batting average in 88 at-bats... Had two home runs, four doubles and 15 singles... Had two-hit games against Sul Ross, Ozarks and ETBU (2)... Hit his first career home run at Ozarks on March 7 and then his second at ETBU... Scored two runs in five games... Made 21 starts at third base and five at designated hitter. 

PRIOR TO UT TYLER:
Played for coach Leslie McTavish at Vauxhall High in Calgary, Canada.

Personal: Son of Glen and Susan Bishop...Two siblings, Brittany and Victoria. Also played volleyball in high school. 

Major: Mechanical Engineering

CAREER ASPIRATION: Plans to be a mechanical engineer for an oil company.
