PRIOR TO UT TYLER: Transfers to UT Tyler from Tarleton State where he played one season after playing at Tyler Junior College as a freshman and sophomore... Went to Lufkin High School where he was a baseball, football and track star for the Panthers... He hit .340 as a junior and .335 during his senior season... Earned District 14-5A First-Team honors as a senior and junior in baseball... Also earned District 14-5A honorable mention honors in football as a quarterback and wide receiver... Played for head baseball coach John Outlaw. 

PERSONAL: Son of Todd and Cheri Quick. Has one sibling, Max Quick. His father, Todd, is the athletic director and head football coach at Lufkin High School and also played college football at Ouachita Baptist. 

MAJOR: Kinesiology

CAREER ASPIRATION: Coaching

WHY UT TYLER: "I chose to come to UT Tyler because it's a great place to go to school and play baseball. I've heard nothing but good things about this program and I already knew a bunch of the guys from playing with them at TJC. I came here to finish my degree in kinesiology and win a national championship.
