JUNIOR (2016): Earned ASC first-team honors after going 8-2 with a 3.53 ERA for the Patriots... Adams recorded 69 strikeouts in 94 1/3 innings of work... Enters his senior season with 16 career wins which is the fourth most in program history and with 144 career strikeouts which is also the fourth most... Adams earned wins over Dallas, Louisiana, UT Dallas, Belhaven, Ozarks, Sul Ross, Hardin-Simmons and Cal Lutheran as a junior... He threw 7.0 innings in his win over Cal Lutheran in the NCAA Spokane Regional where he had six strikeouts... Also had six strikeouts in an ASC Championship game win over Hardin-Simmons.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Finished the season with an 8-3 record with 61 strikeouts and a 3.23 ERA... A second-team all-conference selection, Adams made 12 starts and 14 appearances and finished the season seventh in the ASC with 78.0 innings pitches... Recorded a season-best nine strikeouts in a 4-0 win over Hardin-Simmons in seven scoreless innings of work... Would also record eight strikeouts in six innings against Louisiana College and had seven strikeouts in wins over Sul Ross and Texas-Dallas... Adams had five games where he threw over 100 pitches, including a no-decision against Concordia in the semifinals of the ASC Tournament where he threw 112 pitches and the Patriots went on to win... Limited the opposition to only 25 walks in his 78 innings on the mound. 

FRESHMAN (2014): Made eight apperances in his first season with the Patriots, making five starts...Went 0-4 with a 7.03 ERA...Threw 24.1 innings, striking out 14. 

PRIOR TO UT TYLER: Played for coach Jeff Payne at Rockwall HS in Rockwall...Was named First Team All-District 12-5A as a utility player...Jacket Pride Award Winner.

Personal: Son of David and Kim Adams...One sibling, Connor. Father, David, played football at Austin College. 

Major: Construction Management

CAREER ASPIRATION: Own a construction company

Why UT Tyler: "Because they have a strong baseball program and they were one of the few schools who wanted me to play for them while offering the degree I wanted. Coming here meant I could continue my baseball career and further my education at a great school."
