UT TYLER AWARDS & HONORS: 
- ASC Academic All-Conference (2016)

SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in 18 games in his second season with 15 starts... Romines had 11 hits and drove in seven runs for the Patriots before getting hurt and missing the second half of the season... He would finish with three doubles and a triple. 

FRESHMAN (2015): Played in five games in his first season at UT Tyler where he was a member of the ASC regular season and tournament champions... Went 0-for-7 at the plate, but reached base twice by being hit by a pitch... Scored the first run of his career at ETBU after reaching base by being hit by a pitch as a pinch hitter. 

PRIOR TO UT TYLER: Played for coach David Howard at Robert E Lee HS in Tyler...Was named District 12-5A Honorable Mention First Base in 2012-13...Academic All-State 2013-14.

Club Team: D-Bat Chapman (Coach- Eric Rosar)

Personal: Son of Michael and Jenny Romines... Two siblings, Jakob and Meghan. His grandfather, Don Steele, played basketball at Oral Roberts University. 

Major: Construction Management

CAREER ASPIRATION: Own a construction company

Why UT Tyler?:
"I've lived in Tyler my whole life and just coming out to watch UT Tyler every year from Coach Vilade until now, and training with Coach Vilade as a child, it just became my childhood dream. Being a member of the UT Tyler baseball program means that I have a higher standard than most students. To be apart of such a strong program you have to seperate from the norm and become an even better person than you already are."
