Made six appearances in his first season with the Patriots, going 0-0 on the year with a 7.71 ERA...Pitched 9.1 innings on the year, finishing with eight strikeouts.

East Texas Baptist: 
Played three years for head coach Sam Blackmon ... as a junior, hit a team-leading .560 in 14 games before being sidelined the rest of the season with an injury ... had seven doubles and five home runs while driving in 17 runs and scoring 21 more ... carried a .625 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage ... 3-for-5 on stolen bases ... as a sophomore, played and started in 39 of 40 games while hitting .345 from the plate ... had 11 doubles, one triple and four home runs with a team-leading 45 RBIs ... also drew a team-leading 22 walks and stole 6-of-6 bases ... as a freshman, did not see time on the field.
