RANKINGS: @UTTylerBaseball fourth in West Region

TYLER - The UT Tyler baseball team is ranked No. 4 in the NCAA Division III West Region in the latest release of the poll. The Patriots (29-16) lost last Sunday in the American Southwest Conference Blue Bracket Championship to Concordia in Austin and will have to wait until Sunday night to see if they are granted an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. 

UT Tyler is only behind top-ranked Chapman, Redlands and Concordia in the regional ranking. The Tornados lost in this weekend's ASC Gold Bracket Championship to UT Dallas which has earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament. Concordia will also have to wait until Sunday to see if its season continues, while Texas Lutheran is at No. 5 in the rankings and has punched its ticket with an SCAC tournament title. The Patriots have advanced to seven NCAA postseasons in program history, including one at-large bid coming in 2011.
