TYLER – The UT Tyler baseball team will host Youth Baseball Day on Saturday at Irwin Field.

The Patriots are hosting UT Dallas in a doubleheader and will recognize all local youth baseball and softball players of Tyler and its surrounding areas throughout the day. The program will offer free admission for every youth wearing his/her team’s jersey. The day will consist of many fun activities, starting with the players having the opportunity to stand at their position for the National Anthem. There will also be a free raffle that will include prizes such as free UT Tyler apparel, registration to the UT Tyler Summer Baseball Camp, the chance to throw out the first pitch, and more.

Every player that arrives before 12:45 p.m. will get to fill out a free raffle for a chance at these prizes. A running of the bases along with pictures and autographs with Patriot baseball players will occur after the final game of the doubleheader. Come join us for this family fun day at the ballpark! Arrive early to get your athlete’s name in the drawings and to allow the staff time to get your player in their position for the National Anthem.
