TYLER – The University of Texas at Tyler baseball team and head coach Chris Bertrand will hold a tryout meeting for enrolled students who desire to participate for the 2012-13 season.

There will be an organizational meeting at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 20 in the PHE Building (Room 200) for all individuals interested in trying out for the UT Tyler baseball team.

Prospective players must be enrolled as full-time students for the Fall 2012 semester.

All new players and transfers are required to attend and must complete the following in order to be eligible to tryout:

(1) Attend Tryout Meeting on Monday, Aug. 20 at 5 p.m. in PHE 200.

(2) Prior to the meeting students need to complete the necessary Student Athlete Forms:               

NCAA Compliance Forms
UT Tyler Athletic Forms
UT Tyler Athletic Training Forms

Forms are available at: http://www.uttylerpatriots.com/compliance. Make sure to print out each form, fill it out completely and bring to the meeting on Aug. 29.    

(3) Bring a copy of your academic class schedule to be turned in at the meeting.
