TYLER-- The UT Tyler Athletics Department will host its first annual Little League Day at Irwin Field on Saturday, April 21. The Patriots host American Southwest Conference rival Louisiana College in a double-header that begins at 1:00 pm.
Admission is free for families of little league players who wear their uniform, and each child will receive an autograph from a UT Tyler baseball player.
Along with the excitement of NCAA baseball, families can take advantage of $1 hot dog specials, photo opportunities with the UT Tyler mascot Swoop, team introductions during every inning of the game and drawings for free meals at local Tyler restaurants.
The gates to Irwin Field will open at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
