Lexie Foster goes into her third year as UT Tyler’s Assistant Athletic Trainer after spending two years working for UT Tyler Sports Medicine as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. This year, Lexie will be working with the Patriots’ women’s soccer, softball, and men’s & women’s golf teams.

During her time as an assistant and graduate assistant athletic trainer, Lexie has been no stranger to success.  In three years, she has served as the primary athletic trainer for the 6 ASC Conference Champions, 7 NCAA Regional Qualifiers, the 2014 NCAA Division III Sweet 16 qualifying Patriots Women’s Basketball Team, and the 2015 NCAA Division III National Runner-Up Patriots Softball Team.

In addition to her services provided in the clinical setting, Lexie also serves as an instructor in the UT Tyler Health & Kinesiology Department, and presented at regional conferences to aid in spreading awareness of current topics in athletic training.

Lexie is nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainer, NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, International Cupping Therapy Association Certified Cupping Therapist, National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and RockTape certified in RockTape Blades and Performance Movement Techniques.  Lexie also holds a Masters of Science in Kinesiology through AT Still University.
