A member of the renowned University of Texas System, The University of Texas at Tyler carries a proud tradition of high-quality students and academic opportunities.

We offer a strong, exciting NCAA athletic program of which our students and community are extremely proud. Our Patriot student-athletes have won 19 American Southwest Conference championships and 22 divisional championships. More importantly, our student-athletes have garnered hundreds of academic awards.

UT Tyler offers over 90 challenging academic programs in four professional colleges (education and psychology, engineering and computer science, business and technology, and nursing and health sciences) as well as the traditional college of arts and sciences. Those academic programs include doctoral degrees as well as degrees at the master’s and bachelor’s levels.

WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT PLAYING ATHLETICS AT UT TYLER?

  • Student-athletes will compete in a highly-competitive NCAA athletic program and enjoy the full spectrum of college life.
