    RECAP: @UTTylerBaseball sweeps TLU in Seguin

    Facing a previously unbeaten opponent after dropping three games last weekend, the No. 16-ranked UT Tyler baseball team bounced back in emphatic fashion with a three-game sweep of Texas Lutheran after earning 4-1 and 7-6 wins over the Bulldogs in a non-conference doubleheader on Saturday at the Katt-Isbell Field. Max Page threw a complete-game victory in the opener on Saturday, followed by Jared Pauley driving in the game-winning run with a groundout in the ninth to complete the series.

    PREVIEW: @UTTylerMensGolf opens Spring this week in Austin

    The UT Tyler men’s golf team travels to Austin on Monday to compete in the Linda Lowery Invitational for their first tournament of the spring season. The tournament is a two-day, 36-hole event on February 26-27 at River Place Country Club and the Patriots will be represented by Sam Hill, Tyler Uhlig, Trystan Perkins, Harris Butler and Hayden Montoya.

    SCHEDULE ALERT: @Patriot_sb reschedules series against Concordia

    The UT Tyler softball team has rescheduled its ASC series against Concordia for March 13-14 at Suddenlink Field after rain throughout this week have made conditions unplayable. The Patriots and Tornados will open the series on Monday, March 13 at 6 p.m. before playing a 1 p.m. doubleheader on March 14 in Tyler.

    UT Tyler senior pitcher Ryan Cheatham threw seven scoreless innings and Alex Bishop and Bowie Farris each drove in three runs to help lead the Patriots to an 11-4 win over previously unbeaten Texas Lutheran in the series opener on Friday at Katt-Isbel Field.

    UT Tyler's Michaela McGeary, Paulina Rodriguez and Matthew Cecotti each won two events to highlight Patriot performances at the East Texas Time Trials on Friday at Grace Community School. The first Outdoor meet of the season saw event wins for Rodriguez, Cecotti, McGeary, Daulton Coleman, Damarion Greenwood, Matthew Godwin and Courtney Smith.
